introduction

i should start with an introduction of who i am. my name is dale, i am a small business owner, i have a young family and my upbringing has been in the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. i have been a christian since i was very young -- but it was not until i was 17 that i fully dedicated myself to Jesus Christ. from that point forward, i have always strived to grow closer to Him. at the time, i committed myself to reading at least one chapter of the Bible a day. in doing so, i have read through the Bible many times throughout the years. although i do not have a degree in theology or any formal training, i believe i can certainly help others grow closer to the Lord. in my young life, i have been through many trials and tribulations -- success, failure, family death, despair, doubt, fear...and through it all, the Lord has been my Rock.

the postings that will follow will most likely be random thoughts of the day or week. topics covered will be all aspects of christian living -- which by default includes all aspects of everyday life -- money, career, relationships, responsibility, etc, etc. there will be sparks of righteous anger and times of sadness. there will be building up and breaking down. but through it all, it should be Scripture based and Spirit led. i trust that the Lord will be YOUR guide as well; and that you will verify, through the Bible and prayer, the words and ideas that may be presented here -- for in the end "All of us will have to give an account of ourselves to God" --Rom 14:12.

  1. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
Where is the fear among the church?
Where is the great honor due to the one who gave us life?
Where is the fire and the passion?
    Most christians are asleep.zzzzzz!
Lulled to sleep by the spirit of slumber.

Many take their ease and put another human being (pastor), in charge of what should be their personal relationship with the Almighty.

But for those who would dare to seek God personally. Who would dare to ask God His opinion on matters. For those who would seek Him and strive to draw near to Him, He is waiting anxiously to pour out of His Holy Spirit. To teach His children truths long forgotten. To bless those who worship Him with a pure heart beyond our imagination. I know...
Because when I began to earnestly seek Him, He
immediately poured out His abundant blessings on me. He opened up the clouds of heaven and has and still is pouring out blessings that I can hardly contain.

But Lord ... How do I share your glory with others???? How do I help them to understand what they are missing??
